Need your help please.

I am a plane guy but I need help from the car/buggy crowd. I am looking for broken, busted, destroyed JR car radios like JR XR2i or JR XR3i. All I need is the lower part of the radio, the battery contact blades. I am modifying my JR 9303 and JR 378 Air radios to work like the ground radios with removable battry. I have done the same thing with my old JR 8103 and worked perfect. In the Air radios the battery compartment has the molded slots for the metal blades that make contact with the plactic 8 cell AA battery holder (like in the car radios) but the battery is connected with a white connector to the board. If I modify the radio, its a whole lot easier for me to replace the battery. I fly a lot and sometimes I discharge a battery in few hours. Changing the battery as is now, in time the white connector gets loose and contact is poor. If you need picture, I can send. My contact email is [email protected]
