need help with volcano sv

Hello, i am new to the rc world and i have alot of questions.

First, please tell me why my volcano sv is overheating? I have adjusted both needles to richen it a bit, but then the performace is crap. If i tweak just a bit to the lean side, it overheats. I can only get a quater tank of gas out of the thing before it shuts down. please help

Also, Can i run a larger motor in this thing? if so what kind?

Thanx

What are your temps?

No temp gun, but the old drop of water trick tells me its very very hot. Actually the drop of h20 bounces right off the heatsink due to high temp.

I think you have an air leak. Search youtube and you will find how to know if you have one and fix it. Get a temp gun, it is $30 but will help you a lot down the road. I wouldnt trust the water test as water boils at 212, and you can really run an engien until 290 until damage. You paid for a cheapo rc, you got a cheapo rc. ;)
