CONTROL PROBLEM - WONT REVERSE

Ok I think I am getting there, think it was running to rich which is why it kept stalling when i took out the ignition stick. Had it running for a while, then it just went crazily fast and died, so waiting for it too cool down then try again
However I seem to have a problem with the controls. The throttle seems to work on REV on the controller, so i push trigger foward car goes foward but it wont go in reverse....any ideas please?
|
RE: CONTROL PROBLEM - WONT REVERSE
What kind of RC is it? Sounds like it is nitro, and the trigger on the transmitter shouldn't work the way you said. When you pull it, it should give the car throttle, when you push the trigger, it should apply brakes. If the car is nitro and it doesn't have some kind of reverse setup on the tranny, then you wont have reverse. Not to be rude, but try reading the instructions.

Cheers m8,
No your not being rude at all, I have read the instructions but honestly they couldnt be any more basic, only like 4 pages of englis and the rest foreign lol
Yes its Nitro a NEON TC, dont think it as reverse, how annoying lol. As for the controls it deffo gives throttle if I push foward and brake back, sop its working in reverse, a friend told me some do this. I am sure in time I will suss a way to rectify this.
But its running now so we are off to morrisons car park hee hee
|
RE: CONTROL PROBLEM - WONT REVERSE
The REV switch on the controller swithches the controls for the trigger, not the direction of the car. With the switch in one position, pull means go and push means stop. in the other, pull means stop and push means go. it's the same for the steering switch.
