do i need to water proof on/off switch for winter?
 
i am almost done waterproofing my whole savage...thanks god:D

i just came across the on/ off switch and didn't know if that needed to be waterproof?

and there are 4 holes on the side.. i think there vents[sm=confused.gif] if i plastic dip it not sure how
that is going to work out, just want to be sure before i do any.. rash decisions:eek:

so do i need to WP it or do i just leave it?:P
if i do what a good way of doing it

You could bypass the whole switch and just run it direct if you want it to be 100% water proof. Then when you plug the rx battery in it will turn on.

l would they rust inside and become a pain up the butt to get working and they can sieze. Silicone spray works wonders on the on/off switch.

ofna makes a nice soft plastic cover for the on off switch.

vasilene or silicone works well also.
