thinking about getting a 1/5
 

well, i have thought about making the jump to 1/5th scale for a while and i have been looking at the king motor baja. when i first saw them they were only $499 on ebay but the price has gone up. wheres the best place to get one? i know there are a lot of people who dont like the clones and im not looking for opinions on that. im strictly looking for experiences with this truck and the pros and cons of it. thanks everybody.

Heads up...... If you mention The King motors cars on here you're going to get a ton of guys giving you a hard time about buying a knock off of the HPI etc etc.

I'm not one of them but just be prepared. Also you might wanna check out the large scale section of the site.

Most of the people I know with KM Bajas bought them off eBay. But yeah, check out the giant scale section here on RCU. Welcome to the 1/5 side, where the real fun begins :).

thanks sheo. ill check out the 1/5 forum. i wish i could afford to go with the 5b ss but im a poor college student and this is the only way i would be able to afford a 1/5 lol.

I have a KM, all though I have basically replaced all the Parts with HPI or hop ups. I bought mine when they first came out (340$ Plus Shipping), you can find some on the marketplace here. DanLC4, a member here, sells them.
