What kind of batteries do you guys run in your remotes and in your nitro truck for servos? Rechargables or throw aways?

I like the ability to not have to worry about planning when I want to run :D.

That's what I do now also.  Just didn't know if it would be worth going to rechargables.

I got 3 Nitros and my one I used the most still has its batteries from last season and there going strong. Only time I had to replace them was when I forgot the receiver on over night [X(] (almost did it last night)
But I also use D-cell glow plug warmers also.
My controller also lasts for over 10 hours on one set of batteries. I forgot it on for 7 hours and used it over 5, and its still good according to the voltage monitor built into the controller I'm estimating they will be good for another 5 hours.

Energizers or Duracells in the Transmitter and LIPO in the truck.

Nicad or Metal hydrydes for the starter or an 8$ throw away.

In some cars aa energizers for the reciever or duracells.All alkaline.

And in my daughters ride-in remote 12v piddlefoot modified land criuser its a 5.4amp hour lead acid battery ! Came with a 1 amp hour battery and crap motor etc.
l had to give it suspension to handle the extra power, but now were on the verge of needing a new gear box !She grinds sometimes !
Kid loves it but !
lm gunna do the front suspension next !

so far I only run one controller with rechargeable AA batteries. Venom 2400mah nimh AA's in a 3ch 2.4ghz Futaba transmitter. I like them. They've outlasted any alkalines that I've put in there prior to using the rechargeables. I usually don't have to plan when I'm going to run because there's usually plenty of charge left in the batteries. When it's time to recharge, I spend the hour(?) to recharge them and I'm good to go for another couple weeks (depending on how much I use it).
