Starter box for NTC3
 

Do I need to get the AE NTC3 starter box or will any starter box work? I have the rear exhaust non pull version.

MOST STARTER BOXES ARE UNIVERSAL .THE DRIVE WHEEL CAN BE MOVED PARRELEL OR TRANSVERSE DEPENDING ON THE FLY WHEEL OF YOUR CAR HOPE THIS HELPS ;)

Yes as long as it has slots so the wheel can be turned 90 degrees to line up with the flywheel. Buy the best box you can afford. My experience with cheaper ones has not been good. The motors on those do not tend to last long and are expensive to replace. BTW a gel cell battery will have alot more power and last longer than a 6cell battery pack.

ill tell you this

i have a tc3 and an pink ofna box and a hardcore chassis....
alignment sucks when you have the wheel that turns the flywheel sitting perpendicular to the sides of the pink box.
its more of a pain in the ass than its worth.

my friend has the blue ofna box and although his sits on the box the "other way" it still is hard to line up.

i bought mine used, and it came with a t/a black starting box, and it is perfect for the job...i even had a ad to sell it because i had the pink one, but i like it so much better than the pink i might sell the pink box.
too bad the black one wont start my buggy or i woul dsell the pink one :)

Get the AE NTC3 starter box, it's very well built, nice looking... It's a good starter box and well worth the bucks.
