NEED HELP FAST!!!
 

I'm trying to get my 2.5r revo to run, I'm running o-donnell medium/hot glow plugs and 20% sidewinder, I will run for a few minutes and then goes dead so I go to start it and it won't so I check the glow plug and it's SUPER deformed, I have already gone threw three glow plugs in the last 15 minutes[X(] I for sure not running lean there's a thick trail of blue smoke, can running to rich cause this?

A deformed plug coil usually indicates the tune is too lean or there is debris in the engine.

It's not running lean, the glow plug is very wet and oily. I have a fuel filter so I don't know if there's any debris in it.

you sure your fuel is good?  if the nitro evaporates out it leaves the oil.  so its lean but lots of oil.

It turns out it was lean, I set the needles rich and it runs pretty good now.

That's a good way to burn up an engine.

LOL. Yeah I know but it's an old engine that came on my revo I got in a trade so I don't expect it to last much longer anyway.
