Default How to Charge a Life-po Receiver Pack??

I recently bought a buggy race stable with all kinds of stuff included, including two 2000 LRP Life-po receiver packs. I normally just run 1600 Nimh packs. My charger is very basic - but it is Lipo capable - I think.. (it says lipo on it..) But I don't know - I have ZERO experience with lipos.. I think I need a balancer?? How do I charge this thing?

And btw, does it get more juice to the servos, or just longer run time?

Thanks..

If your charger doesn't say LiFe on it or in the manual, it will not charge them properly.
