Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the Airtronics MX3X radio system? I cant seem to find if it has an internal BEC or not. I would love to run lipo batteries in the receiver and transmitter on my nitro buggy, but I know on a full charge, a 2s lipo is putting out roughly 8.4 volts. Definitely dont wanna fry my receiver and servos haha

My Feedback: (2)

I have an Airtronics MX3 sport which came with the 524 receiver. In The manual it states that 524 receiver doesnt have an bec in it. If you dont have the manual for your radio I would suggest you contact Airtronics and they can help you figure that out. I had an older xl2p receiver and I plugged a new 6 volt battery into it backwards and fried it. They fixed it for $15.00 which I thought was very reasonable. Michael J

I dont have the radio yet, thats why I was trying to see what they have. I havent seen anything on their specs as far as whether or not it has a BEC. I loved my old Airtronics MX3FHSS system, and wanna see if the new upgrade is worth it.
