The BEC (battery eliminator circuit) is a circuit with in the ESC that steps the voltage down from battery voltage to 6v (some are 5v) to opperate standard servos and the receiver.
all receivers are the same in relation to where things plug in.
CH 1 is steering
CH 2 is throttle and brake
So, plug the ESC into ch2. then set the trim to 0 on ur radio gear, then follow the Velineon setup and power up instructions.
Traxxas have all there instructions avaliable for download
