by the way, it took my money order 2 weeks to get there, and it took 5 days for the shipping the item
and don't forget to put more than 1 stamp, if youi gonna send money order
What kind of money order did you send to Hong Kong? AmEx? I tried to send a US Postal Money Order to Hong Kong and was informed that they would not issue one for Hong Kong and even if I got a "regular" US PMO, they would not be able to cash it in Hong Kong. I finally just opened a PayPal account and have not had any problems since with the orders I've made out of Hong Kong. Shipping was 2-3 days by EMS.

PCM (Pulse Code Modulation or coded FM) is fine and is what I use along with the AM Conversion Module. PCM is just not as fast as HRS (but it has its advantages) and you don't need digital servos to run it like you would in the HRS mode. You can also purchase the different modules separately, as I did with the AM Conversion Module and plan to do with the Crystalless Module/Receiver set up as soon as Futaba gets on the ball in the USA (I heard it wasn't coming out, then it was out and also worked in the HRS Mode, yet I don't see it listed on the main T3PK webpage).

When you get the manual, review pages 16 and pages 7, 48, and 60 for more on PCM & HRS. And although the manual has the T3PK as 3x the speed of PPM (uncoded FM) in the HRS mode, the website now shows 2x the speed. You can also visit Futaba's website and download the manual if you want to get a head start on learning how to use the T3PK

For the T3PK to truely be crystalless, you would have to replace both the Tx module and the Reciever or you would still end up using a crystal in one or the other. And although I've heard that the crystalless set up would work in the HRS mode, I haven't been able to confirm this and I forgot to inquire about it at RCX. I should have since I spent quite a bit of time with the Great Planes rep.

Yes, the 3PK Synth Module will support all three modes (HRS, PCM, PPM).

And there will be Futaba Synth Rx in HRS and PPM (no PCM as far as I can tell)..

Do you have a link to a Futaba source to verify that information?
