Dude, it hurts big time, i dont have my digicam, but i will explain, the way it looks is like when u put a beer in the fridge, and let the beer just frost on the outside, that is exactly how it looks, so it is hard to see the numbers, although the remote works fine it just looks like crap on the plastic LCD and its hard to see my settings, i am soooo pisssed off, cause i did not do this, my girlfriends brother did by mistake, he set a bottle of fuel not to far from the radio, the sun made the cap pop off and the bottle fell sideways causing the splash onto the damn radio....what sucks is that its the only radio i have all my cars set too, including my serpent 710 which i just finished building, and now i cant run it, i know futaba turn around time is like 3 weeks, sooooo you know im hurting, i might just buy another 3PK, and not even send this one in, since i need a another reciever for the serpent 710, and this repair may be like 50-75 bucks plus labor and shipping so you know where i am getting at, i was going to get a serpent 950R, instead the 950R may have to wait till DEC to buy it, if i end up buying another 3pk. I hope that this does not happen to anyone. if i do buy another 3PK ill keep this one for parts, but will buy a 3PK bag, a 30 dollar investment can go a long way...we will see...and i have tried everything to try and remove this damn film.....be careful with fuel near this thing!

Ok i got it cleaned off....here is what i did, i took the radio apart, took the front plastic glass off then used some ajax with a damp paper towel, thing looks new again, so there u have it, if anyone runs into this problem try this it will work, be careful when taking the radio apart, look at how everything comes off, than just reverse the procedure....here is a tip, the top and bottom electronic boards are connected via a thin sorta of strap, these straps have a latch, just release the latch and pull the strap off, this will make it all the easier when reinserting, this is what controls your light and top to bottom boards, if u put it all together and the light does not come on this will be you problem, connectors not connected, hope i have helped some one out in the future!
