Hey guys and girls
I have been pondering over something. I am about to buy a Savage SS and all that is needed for it and I am a totalt noob if you don't count the Nikko I had as a kid. So I wanted to get the reverse for it so I needed a 3-channel and fell in love with the MX-3, but then I was thinking I need the reversemodule, a servo and an more expensive radio. Is it really worth that to have reverse. Do I need it? Do any of you guys use it if you have it and do you guys who don't want it????
Now comes my question for this forum. To replace the MX-3 I looked at the Futaba 2PL with 2 s3003 servos (I get the extra servo for 3 bucks) for $65. Is the 2PL a good radio? Are there any other, maybe cheaper, 2-channels that are equally good?
Thanks in advance

Just go for the three channel, I am not aware of any high quality 2 channels at the moment and like everything else, you get what you pay for. The MX3 is an outstanding deal for 100 bucks. Plus the S3003 servos that come with the 2pl will not be worth much in the SS because they are just plain too weak.
