Default Why is it that my Futaba reciever works with my JR radio but...

My Airtronics Reciever will not? samething with the Crystals. The ones from my Futaba remot work in the JR xr2i but the ones from my Airtronics set-up do not work. I was under the impression that all 27MHz radios and recievers would work together aslong as they had the correct Crystal . Can someone set me Straight. I dont want to have to purchase another New reciever unless I have to.

Is it the reciver or the leads on your servos? The wireing is diffrent between the brands, I belive the power and singal wires are reversed but check the companies websites to be shure.

I didnt think of that. Im pretty sure thats what it is now that you mention it.

But what about the Crystals? The set from my Airtronics radio will not work in the JR. and the JR will not work in the Airtronics. Are crystals specific to a radio brand?
Thanks
Andy
