Default are crystals interchangable between companies?

I was wondering if you could put a futaba 75mhz radio crystal into say a traxxas TQ-2. I want to get a traxxas stampede or E-maxx but I already have a tyco car on the 27mhz.

Nope, not possible because for one of many reasons, they aren't even on the same band. TQ's are 27 mhz.

Don't feel bad, I have seen people who don't even know what a crystal is lol. But you can find out what channel spacificly(SP?) your tyco is on (Like channel 2 which is 27.045) and buy a different channel for the TQ like 4

here is a list of channels for 27 and 75mhz

Can I put my jr rx crystal in my parkzone slo V rx so I can use my JR TX instead of the dumb 3ch one that comes with the slo V ??????? It just makes sense to me that if I take the crystall out of the rx that cam with the radio it would make the Slo V RX set to that channel

We get asked all the time about mixing Hitec and Futaba crystals, and that many guys do it. Though they may work, there is a different load cap (pF) between the two brands.
