Only if the servo number has a Z behind it. This means universal for all recrivers. Otherwise you will need a a adapter.

Only if he has the new Z connectors. If it is the old Air connectors he can't.

Thanks to all for your input - - I have ordered the servo with the Z - so that should take care of it.

Wish that I could get a refund on the hitec servo that has crapped out on my for the second time in one year!! I guess I'll send it back for repair and keep it as a back up.

Again - thanks.

Which hitec servo was it?
And what application was it being used in?

Just wondering for reference

it is the HS 945MG HT. I used it for a steering servo - which when it worked was great. But the first time it crapped out was because the gears stripped and now it has an electrical short in it someplace because the steering keeps cutting out - which as you know is not good!! This servo isn't even a year old yet!!!

For as much money as that thing cost - I would expect it to last much longer. I put a futaba 3305 in my daughters buggy and it seems to be holding up fine. But I wanted to try the Airtronics because it was faster and has more torq. This way I can get a comparison.

Ya.. good servos are damn expensive.
I use Hitec when I need a 1/4 scale servo.. but otherwise it's Futaba Only.
Damn expensive though
