My question is
How far of range on 27MHz and 75MHz ground radio ?
Does that same range with 72MHz aircraft ?

Should be about the same. Every manufacturer claims some distance or another.
Really.. I wouldn't trust anything over 500m anyways except for the new Spread Spectrum Controllers and modules coming out.
