Default Question about Hitec SRX with Spektrum

I just got my SRX yesterday. I did the binding and tested it. Everything went fine! BUT... when my SRX batt down to 9.2 on the screen, the spektrum module started to bip! is this normal? is this the spektrum module or the SRX that's bipping?
I just started this hobby so I'm very confused! I'm using the AA battery. I think it's better using the 8 cell batt for the transmitter, right? tower doesn't have it on stock right now. is there any other battery beside this :
that can go with SRX?
How much is the max volt for the 8 AA battery?

I think you are asking what the voltage should be on 8 AA batteries and that would be 12 volts. You can call Hitec at 858-748-6948.
I am guessing your batteries were not fresh. Try some new ones. Just my 2 cents worth.
