OK.I changed the throttle servo on my T-Maxx and it still chatters pretty bad.
Any suggestions?
I'm gonna put one of my other radios in it and see what happens.

Default Servo chatter

Sometimes, when you are putting in a fresh 6volt pack, servos will act up a little. Then as the pack is used a little, it goes away. Now if this is your problem or not, I do not know. If it only does it while it is running, then I would say you have some kind of interference. Like maybe your pipe is touching your Manifold, or some other momentary metal to metal contact. You will be able to find a remedy for your problem without running out and buying a new Radio System, as I would think over 75% of all R\C cars are running the stock setup with no problem. If it does chatter with it stopped, you might want to try to find someone you could temporarily swap receivers with, to see if that might be it. Or for now you can swap the servo leads in the receiver to see if it will do it on another channel. I don't know, try everthing. LOL

On another note: Alot of answers on here are, if you don't have the best run out and buy it. I wish I had half the money some of these guys got.

Default Servo chatter

Seems to be workin' pretty good now.My buddy bought a brand new radio for his plane, new servos everything. However there was servo chatter,I tried to talk him out of putting it in the air,he didn't listen.Put the plane up it was totally out of control did a loop and nose dived into the field.1st flight.Totalled.
Thats his 3rd plane this year.1Extra,1Trainer,1Staudacher now he's gonna try a BigStick.
I think he needs to go back to the buddy box!

Default Buddy or Buddy Box

Hey BoneFrost....Maybe your friend needs to "listen" to his "BUDDY". ......with that accomplished....then he would certainly benefit from using a buddy box and keep a few of his airplanes!

Default servo chattering too

mine also is doing these chattering since
i change my broken servo saver to a new one...

the funny thing is that when i tighten the
servo saver screw to the servo gear as tight as possible the chattering starts..

first i don't really know what was wrong...but when i reduce the screw tightness to the servo metal gear..the chatter stops....

wonder what is really wrong....for now i cannot
tighten the screw like usual...so what else can i do but put in some lock tight in those screw and servo hole ....

ok...

Default Servo chatter

In my airplanes....if the connections are not straight to the servos.....I will hear servo chatter. Usually it is strain from the linkage to the servo that is making the servo chatter. Once I get the strain off.....then the chatter will go away. It can take several tries to get it right but once the corrections are made......no more chatter.
