Default Futaba 2PL radio charger..

I'm looking for an adapter that i can use to recharge Futaba 2PL Tx batteries without removing them. There's a jack but the manual doesn't state anything about charger specifications. Any inexpensive ideas?

I use this one, but the charger has to be able to charge with a diode in the tx. Your 2pl has a diode in it (unless you remove it)

Some chargers that will not work are the triton, digital piranha, none of the pulse chargers except the twin pulse.

The ice (not on auto setting)will work and some others.

I think that any of them will work. I have three transmitters and use one charger on them all. If the adaptor will fit properly it will slow charge (which is better) them. Now I have a question about the 2 PL. I just purchased one to use because of the 10 model memory. I removed the crystal from the xmitter of the car I wanted to run with the 2PL and plugged it in but it didn't work. That's all I should have to do right? The instructions are not very clear on this or I am really dumb.
Tks,

It may work on 27 mhz. 75 mhz is illegal I think to change tx crystal.

If you only chage the rx crystal and not the tx how in the heck do you expect your car to work?!? Did you ride the short bus?

Why should it be illegal to change the crystal on a 75mhz radio?

Mjg202 are your old tx and your new tx the same brand and are they on the same frequency band?

I can't remember, it may be on the fcc website or in the futaba instructions.

It's illegal to change the frequency yourself...ie from 27mhz to 75mhz. It must be professionally recalibrated by someone who is liscenced to do so by the FCC. Either a local shop or the radio manufacturer. Clear Now?
