Whether or not you need a power supply depends on the charger. If it is DC only, you'll need a PS to use it at home. If it is AC/DC, you can use it anywhere, and if it is AC only, you can only use it at home, unless you have a good power inverter.

For decent charger that is AC/DC, will charge small cells (like the 2/3A in hump) and AA's, and will charge 8 cells (Tx) i would suggest [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXCLD5&P=ML]duratrax digital peak[/link]. It'll get the job done. One warning though, it doesn't want to charge my TX while hooked up to the car battery. I don't think there's enough voltage to charge 8 cells. Pull em out and charge them in a 4 cell holder.

You will benefit from a charger that can discharge as well. It should also automatically detect when the batteries are fully charged.

Furthermore you need to be aware of the voltage if you order from abroad. In US they have 110V whereas we have 230V in some parts of Europe. The frequency of the AC should also match.
