Default need help with rs310

Ok this is the deal, I got a Airtronics MX-3 75mhz fm radio and a JR rs310 (synthesized) 75mhz fm receiver. The crystal in the radio is: 75.810mhz fm so I got the receiver dialed in the first slot (8) under the *10 the second slot (1) under the *1. Is this the correct set-up. If so, why isnt it working? What can I be doing wrong? I got two receivers rs300 & rs310 both set-up the same both not responding. [:@]

Sometimes radio equipement from two different companies wont be compatible. Check with JR to see if they are fimiliar with which companies the RS310 works with. If it turns out the receiver just won't work you can try the Airtronics 92926Z synth receiver.

Should work.

I've personally used a JR XS3 to control an Airtronics crystal reciever. If you are still having this problem, i can try out my MX-3 with my RS-300 receiver and see how it goes.

Same here, the xs3 should work fine with a airtronics x-tal receiver. Come to think of it, the RS receivers have that ABC&W circuitry that might be affecting it, contact JR maybe. The receivers might think the signal is just noise.

Well I shot that theory out of the water. The MX-3 will operate the RS300 just fine so assume the 310 will be fine as well, there must be another problem. I just tried mine on channel 68 and it was fine... the trims were different but that is not unusual. No glitching either.

Did you try the second switch on 1 maybe? Since you are setting channel 81 not the frequency of .810 I believe that might be your problem.

Do you know where I can find the manual for the receivers. I checked the jr racing & kopropo websites and nothing comes up. So, what number should the first dial be at: 7 or 8 and the second dial at: 8 or 1 ? The trans crystal is 75.810mhz.

Frequency 75.810 = channel 81, first dial set to "8" second dial set to "1" should work fine. I can't find one online either, maybe somebody else can help.....
