I recently purchased a Team Losi XXX-NT Sport RTR and have a question about rechargeable batteries since the disposable alkaline types are getting too expensive for me! Can you tell I'm a total newbie????
Are RX/TX rechargeable battery packs standard? If not, what "size" do i need for the RX/TX? I see various battery packs (eg-hump, flat, 1000mAh, 900 mAh, etc...) and I can't figure out which ones I need.
I looked in the manual and all it talks about are "AA" batteries.
The RX takes 4 AA and the TX take something like 8 "AA" (I have a JR XR2 if that helps).
Thanks in advance.

I went out and bought a 1100mah NimH pack and a charger for $80.
Stupid of me not to have just tried a simple Radio Shack/Walmart rechargable set of batteries.

do you mean a 6 volt hump pack? If so, you didn't waste your money man. It will perform so much better than using 4 rechargeable batts it isnt funny. 4 rechargeables are only good for 4.8 volts and make for slow servos.
