AM vs FM
I currently run a simple 2-channel AM radio for my 2 cars, a team losi xxx-t and xxx-s. I am thinking of going brushless or setting my on road car, the xxx-s to a much faster setup, but am wondering if i could still be happy with the AM frequency. i know FM obviously is a better quality signal than AM, but can it make a noticable difference in these cars? Is FM less prone to interference, i am soon going to have a car running with alot of carbon on the chassis, and wonder if an AM reciever can still function properly with the carbon.
I want the FM, but it is a consididerabbally large investment, going nearly $300 for the tx and a few recievers.
