I just bought a new M11 with a Spektrum pro module and I read the book from start to end and I see nothing of much help in regards to the front dial knob other than it can be assigned a programable function like the other switches and trims but the book does show how. Is there a way this knob could be used to navigate though the menus or increase and decrease values in setups, otherwise, I don't see the point.

Is there something I missed ?

it is for use as a third channel, for a servo operation that may need to be fully adjustable. for instance, trim tabs on a speed boat.
