I just use some rechargable energizer AA's. Works fine, and I just recharge them when I they die.

They didn't have those at my LHS when I picked up my 3PM, but they had a new Venom 2700Mah NiMH transmitter pack for $39.99, so I went that route instead. The only bad thing I've noticed is that it doesn't fit as snug as the removable AA battery connector that comes with it, but that's an easy fix with a little foam. Not sure if that's the same case with the Futaba rechargable pack or not.

www.batteryspace.com have awesome deals on AA size NiMH. Something like 24 for <$30.
Those are all I use and they are very good.

All I use is rechargeables: 2000mA capacity. They last a long while, work great. From "amondo" I think.
