Hello I just got my second transceiver for my other car and I am having a hard time getting it to bind can you please give me a call at 1 (951)682-7267 and see what I am doing wrong? I bought this from tower and I thought all I was getting was the trasceiver but it came in a kit with the temp voltage and tach all for $109.99 and with the coupon it was only like 86 bucks. So any help will do please.

Here is some photos of my transeciver and all I have on it is the temp sensor that goes to the head and then you can read it right off you radio. Waiting for my new servos.

Ok, Quick Q on this whole nomadio thing (and maybe radio upgrades in general)...
#1 Is the RX Waterproof or can it be waterproofed easily?
#2 I have a stock mini quake, will the stock servo work with this RX?
#3 is my servo digital, what is the difference, and how would I change it if it isn't? (I know what analog and digital is but in re: to servos?)
#4 how big is the speed sensor, what does it look like, and how does it hook up?
It appears this sucker is def small enough for a 1/18th scale no problem... This radio is sooo nice...

1. No
2. Yes
3. Your stock servo is analog.
4. Good luck. While the receiver is not that big the pins are mounted high causing it to get quite bulky when used.

can someone comment on [link=http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_reviews.php/products_id/9956]React reviews on amain[/link]? I just wouldn't like to buy a new radio and end up sending it back overseas, waiting god knows how long to get it back. anyway, are there any other 2.4 GHz alternatives to React?

I really thought that the little box that guy is holding in his hand in the photo up there is called the receiver and that the transeiver is inside the remote. WAs I wrong about it?

Nomadio calls the receiver a transceiver. While it does communicate back to the transmitter I still like to refer to it as a receiver to hold down the confusion.

We have an importer in Norway who also handles service if needed.

PS: dodgy answer that. I'd still like a comment on those amain reviews.

Karlton,
Got my React today. I don't see anywhere that says "Made In USA". I think that would be a big USA selling point...
Is it?
Thanks,
Gary

1. Transmitter Signal Stregnth - Strength of signal put out by transmitter.
2. Transceiver Signal Strength - Strength of signal received from transceiver.
3. Name of current reading (TX Bat, RX Bat, Car Bat, Tach, Temp, etc).
4. Lowest value of current reading (right above it is the highest reading).
5. Current active model number.
6. Latest value of the current reading.
7. Bar display of current reading (with end points calculated based on alert levels)
8. Servo status, with a vertical bar showing the current position and the tick marks showing the neutral position. A solid line is a region that you can move the servo to, and a dotted line is a region that you cannot move the servo to (set by endpoints and dual rate).
9. Transmitter battery level, showing full, half full, near empty and empty.
10. Transmitter icon to go with #9
11. Transceiver battery level, showing full, half full, near empty and empty.
12. Car icon to go with #11
13. Transceiver and transmitter link status (solid=linked, flashing=not linked, USB icon=connected to PC, in joystick mode)
There is a bit of confusion because there are three displayed values for the current reading. The current reading is the big digits, and the max and min since powerup are the small digits. Particularly helpful for temp readings.

would that be Antrade, http://www.modellbil.no/, who sell Nomadio React for 2690 NOK, which is $441, roughly $150 more than in USA?
PS: dodgy answer that. I'd still like a comment on those amain reviews.

I can't comment on the react reviews on Amain, as i don't own a React.
I Do own a Sensor, and it has served me faithfully for almost 2 years now.
Never a glitch, never any need for support.
As for the Norwegian price: take the US price of around US$ 300 add US$ 30 for cheap shipping, and then add Norvegian VAT(MVA) on the US$ 330 of 25% = US$ 82.50
Price when you import it yourself: Aprox US$ 330 + US$ 82.50 = US$ 412.50 (+ maybe additional import taxes)
Shipping is more likely to end up in the US$ 50 range.

All the distributors world wide pay the same price so it is just Taxes, import fees & shipping, as stated above either the end user pays the taxes and shipping or the importer.

Any update on the availability of the mini Rx for the React?
I want to buy one when I buy the React to save on shipping.
