Default Reciever w/built-in fail safe or seperate reciever and fail safe?

I have a Hitec agressor in 75mhz fm and am setting up my HPI Baja5b(gasser) to use it. Stock radio( it was a RTR)Has a built in failsafe. I can get a futaba rec with built in failsafe for 53$ or rec w/no failsafe for 35$ and 20-40 $ for a seperate failsafe. Which is the preferred method?

I like my Spektrum with a failsafe on it, but for 75MHz, you should get a seperate failsafe.
