Hi guys, this is the first time writing on this forum. Is there a transmitter I can buy that will run all my nitro cars (8) using the resevers that are in the cars now. Thanks

RE: one radio, 8 cars
You would want to buy a controller with at least 8 model memory, or more. Most radios now come out with 10 or more. You also need to buy 8 receivers for each of the cars, unless your ok with moving the receiver every time you want to run a specific car. I don't think that it is possible to use the same receivers unless they are all FM or all AM. That way, you can buy one crystal for each of the receivers and one for the transmitter in order for the set up to work. Although, if you do this, you will have to set up each car before you actually run it, because each car is set up differently than the next.
Good luck
PS. If I were you, I would stay with the stock transmitters for each car. It is a lot of hassle to get a radio to work with 8 different cars, unless you spend at least $1000.

I picked up an M8 with a Novak Synthesized Module and 6 Novak Synthesized receivers used for about $250. You can buy FM synthesized gear for cheap since a lot of folks are going Spectrum.

I totally disagree. One radio is the way to go. A synthesized FM radio with 10 model memory is less than $200. You'll probably have to do some receiver swapping but it will be worth it in the end.
