Futaba 3rd channel question

Default Futaba 3rd channel question

Never had a 3 ch radio, but I need one now. How is the 3rd channel worked on a 3pm radio? Could it be used for a boats adjustable trim system?

the 3rd channel is controlled by a 2 position switch next to the steering wheel. It can be set up in a bunch of different ways and also be controlled by the switch on the hand grip...

as an example:
I use this radio for my crawler to control the rear steering, switch off - no rear steer, switch on - rear steers opposite front, pust the button and the rear steers the same as the front.
