Default THE ALMIGHTY SERVO. Brands, Types,Torq, Price etc.

Diggin thru the forums and didnt find any info on servos. So0Oo0oooO0 I would like to get some knowledgeable Info on different types of servos ranging from what brands (Futaba, JR, Airtronics etc..) most of us stick with, Whats mostly used for racing or bashing and what generally are good to great servos to stick with.

I was looking for info on servos since i wanted to get away from my z590 and z270 (JR) servos. Good servos but need to step it up a little (preferably without going over "oh lets say" $120)

Before i forget. Looking for 2 steering servos for my MT

Edit: oh yea if anyone has a link to a site that has info on most types of servos, it would help all of us out alot. thX[sm=shades_smile.gif]

I run the hitec 5955, and it's very strong. it can easily turn the wheels lock to lock on the ground, and it's super quick..you don't need anything faster.
IMO, it's the best servo for truggy steering on the market. I got mine for only $89, too..I forgot what site it was at though..try ebay.

www.towerhobbies.com has Hobbico HS-150 servos. They're digital and get 193oz/in of torque for only $40!!! Two of em gets loads of power for still less than the average 333oz servo... NICE
