Default JR XS3PRO Trouble. Please help me.

I am trying to change frequencies from 61 to 89. According to the radio and the step by step process in the manual I am doing this correctly, maybe. I can change the radio, and change the dials on the reciever. But it doesn't respond to the changes, nothing is happening. So I left the reciever on 89 and switched the radio back to 61 (factory setting) and it starts working again, even though the reciever is still on 89. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

So, set the manual dial on the receiver to the channel that you want to use. Next, hold down the 'scroll' and 'channel' buttons on the transmitter, then turn the transmitter on.

If you hit scroll one time, it will show the channel the Tx is on. Then you just hit increase or decrease to get the tx to the channel you dialed the receiver in at. Once I dial in the channel, I usually just turn the radio off and back on (there is a way to get out of the setup menu, but I just turn the tx off/on to make it easy). The radio will now be set at the new channel and the two should talk.

Is that what you are doing?

I did the radio first before the reciever, would that screw it up?

Got it, The numbers on the dials on the rx aren't exactaly lined up the best, but I got it after going through a couple of frequencies on the tx. Thanks for your help.
