remote control problem??
Ok....I'm really new to the whole RC thing. My husband persuaded his brother to buy a Team Losi LST Super Truck. Well, he bought a different one before that, but it was defected or somethin', so he bought the Losi. We followed the instructions and everything of how to get it ready to break it in. They got the remote programed (I don't know if they did it right, I wasn't there[sm=rolleyes.gif]), but they can't get it to go. It starts and runs, but when they give try to make it go forward, it puts the brakes on, at least thats what they said. I read in the instructions that you have to turn on the transmitter before you turn on the truck, and turn the truck off first, then the transmitter, they didn't do that until I told them about it, They were doin' it backwards. Would that have done somethin' as far as makin' it not go forward? I don't know, This area is all new to me. Any help would much be appreciated. Thanks[sm=sunsmiley.gif]

RE: remote control problem??
I'm new to rc cars myself, but it sounds like you need to reverse the throttle servo at the transmitter. There should be a little switch on the tranny that will dothat. have fun .

RE: remote control problem??
Yeah thats what it sounds like look in the radio manuel for throttle reverse switch. By switching that it should change it so when you pull the trigger you now have throttle.
As far as turning the radio on before you turn the car on its so the car dont take off thats the reason for that. If this dont take care of the problem let know the make and model of the radio that way someone that has the same radio will walk you thru it easy. Good luck...:D:D:D |
RE: remote control problem??
yeh thats what it sounds like to me too but just to clarify crash-icu when he says tranny he means transmitter AKA the radio there should be a switch on it or it will be in your program options to have a throttle servo reverse
