Need some help

I have an airtronics 3ps caliber radio and am going to install it in my Revo with all the stock servos. What modifications do I need to do to the servos and the power supply so I don't fry the servos or the reciever. Your help would be much appreciated. I have already fried one reciever so I know something has to be done to the the power supply wiring but do not knwo what.

RE: Need some help

What voltage is the battery?

Receivers are rated above like 7.4V, so it shouldn't hurt the receiver, if anything, it should've hurt the servos.

What's so special about the Revo's wiring?

I don't think it is the revo's wiring I think it is the old style airtronics . It is 7.2v

What kind of servos do you have, and what kind of plug does the Revo have? If it's a Futuba-type, try this.

Try this:

Or you could just poke the pins out and move them to the right place to fit the receiver, that would work, but you'd have to change it back when you got a new receiver.

That picture right there answers my question. See how theRed wire is in the middle on the blue plug and is on the outside on the black plug. The common wire is in a different spot.
