difference between single conversion and dual conversion?????????

The Rec that came with my lynx 3d is a dual conversion. I want to get another rec and use it on another vehicle. Do I have to get a dual conversion???? The dual conversions are qiute expensive(70 dollars).

you can use either dual or single conversion with your TX.

dual conversion just takes the incoming signal and translates it twice to weed out interference (that is the simplified explanation)

I would suggest dual if you can afford it but it is not needed.

Haven't had any problems with single conversion in cars, but in planes in my area, I wouldn't fly anything less than a dual.
