it is rc 4 god sake, it has a reciever a servo and a engine, and how the hell do u think he gets the prower from to get the damn thing going eh? a engine so it is rc and the video is old so please posting ti i bet every1 on here has seen it

duh that is only to get the thing going around when it gets up2 speed it is still using the engine to get to 200mph along with the centrugrifal force they work together to get thru the really low gearing ( low gearing is correct bcuz the ratio is a lower number if the gear ratios r longer OK)

No he is not and EVERYONE needs to stop bashing the guy. Just because someone else has seen it and it is new to someone else. Does not mean you give him or anyone else a hard time for it. If you already seen it and do not want to talk about it or discuss the topic. Then move onto to some other thread you can contribute to. All this negative bashing and anything else, needs to stop.

It doesnt have a reciever, the engine is hooked driectly up to the motor and for it to stop it has to run out of gas! All it is, is a chassis with 2 wheels and a motor.

I still think they need a way to disconnect the cable & have a ramp pop up once it gets to speed. Wings are optional but they would be a nice plus.

Actually Cossie I havent seen it before and im sure there are many people who havent The sport of RC racing is always growing. There will always be someone who hasnt seen that vid that is on RCU.

cossie that is not rc look at the video again and look at the wire the speed of the car how it get up to it it has realy high gear ratio and it takes a longer time to get up to 200mph.But i could see that thing made into rc car all you would need is a micro servo for stering,smallest reciver,and a micro poly pack.Then just let it go in like a desert and hit 200mph

I like Savage_Dias idea. Why not I mean sure there are a few hazards
A 200mph 1:10 scale teather car could probably knock your leg off or kill you.
Miss the jump and blow itself up from the force of the crash
etc
But what would be cool if if the guy in the middle tried to play a game of skipping with it.

I hope you don’t mind but I thought I would jump in with a physics correction.
The tether holds the car in a circular path by centripetal force. There is no such thing in this universe as centrifugal force. It is just one of those things where people insist on using a word to explain or describe a perceived force when it is actually the absence of a force that they are witnessing. Centrifugal force (no such thing remember) is the word used to describe the absence of centripetal force accelerating an object into a circular path. Everybody just uses that word but that force does not exist.
Next, if I could only find a way to get the president to stop saying NUKEULAR when the real word is NUCLEAR. It’s kind of scary when a man has control of a huge nuclear arsenal and he isn’t even smart enough to pronounce the word correctly.
