Default Quarter-Scale Racing - Short Clip

[link=http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=QSACShort062505-Med]Link to Short Video of some Quarter-Scale Racing[/link]

If that doesn't work, try the following link:

For those who don't realize it, the races do start out with more cars. However, most crash and burn especially when they run 300 lap mains.

If it wanst for the camera zooming out, it would have looked like 1:1 scale cars.

I'm glad you guys like it. I have a lot of video, but I simply don't know how to compress it to a small enough size without loosing a lot of the detail. Of course, that short clip covered pretty much what I wanted.

I'm sure the majority of us are on broadband connections so anything up to around 100 MB isn't a problem......... I'd love to see more in other words

Perhaps, I'll work on some more video after the holidays since I'll be going out-of-state and running Kyosho Mini-Zs this weekend. Meanwhile, here is a photo of my 1/4 scale taken at the same track.

For anyone who doesn't know of a Kyosho Mini-Z, here is a photo of one of my F1s on my track when I set it up outside.

Well, a fast broadband can help, but its really the upstream from the server that counts. I run a small Dell Server here at my house off my cable, and get about 346kbps upload. It would take a LONG time to download a 100 meg vid off of that. For hosting those larger videos, make sure that you use a host with a T1 or greater connection, which usually have around a 100mb upstream. I just dont have the money to pay $450 a MONTH for T1, I pay that per year for my cable connection.

Well I haven't worked on any of the video since I've been either running or getting my Mugen mbX5 1/8th scale ready to race. As a matter of fact, I'll be heading to the track soon. Honest, I haven't been sleeping on the job.

There are a few 1/4 scale cars and parts on e-bay for sale. Cost for a new WCM is about $1100, last time I bought one. You may want to check with [email protected] who is selling off a lot of his extra cars and stuff.

Just a few pictures of the concours lineup from a 1/4 scale race on the old 1/4 midget track in the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. The classes are from the front to rear, Super Trucks, Modified, Sportsmen, Sprint and Bush class.

I'll try to work on some more video clips this weekend after I get done racing the 1/8th scale. However, I may have to redownload everything since the computer crashed twice. Although it only appeared to be loose ram or cards, I didn't check that first and reinstalled the operating system wiping the main hard drive. I didn't check the cards until the second crash. Yes, I know--me stupid that time.
