Default Vintage Radio Shack Eradicator

Got this Vintage Radio Shack Eradicator for a really good deal. I didnt know anything about it, but I knew it was built really well. It's even 4x4 with independent suspension. I only have nitro trucks and dont know about electric really. I thought it was pretty cool though. Just needs a battery. Any advice for couple small upgrades I could make eventually? It has a rs540 motor from what ive read.

Pretty sharp, even metal dog bones. Given that I would not be surprised if it shares parts with some old hobby grade car. Any pictures of motor and steering? You could always throw in an upgraded steering servo depending on how it is wired. Heck, yank all the electrics out, install a modern 2.4ghz system. The fun in these can be hacking them up and seeing how far you can take it. 25 years ago we did that alot.

And of course I have bought many a toy grade car just to get the body or other detail items to bolt onto something else, especially crawlers.
