Well, at Tower Hobbies, they don't stock it and I check the manual for the XB WW2 version (I only got that manual, not the kit one, since I purchase the XB version) and the manual don't have the short bumper part # ,only the big bumper.[:@]

You can get it from TamiyaUSA..

Hi lunchboxer and fellow WW global members.........i am from Malaysia and FINALLY got meself a WW2 (always wanted to own one since teenage days when the M38 was around)

i have learnt alot from this thread (yes... i have been reading this thread like a bible )

just got the chassis done up.. its tamiya stock... no mod.... YET [8D] except for CVA shocks and heatsink with no BLING BLING

will be doing the body tonite... and yes.. lunchboxer...i heard you... short bumpers ONLY!!

did a test run and what a sh*tload of fun!!

will be sharing more update soon...... pardon the carlsberg carton box in the picture....... makes building WW2 more fun and challenging burp!

[8D]

BTW... why do tamiya likes to mix all screws in different bags and not telling us which screws are to be used with which part bag??!! (or was it written somewhere in the manual??!!)

Mr. Willy has landed in the Tropics.... hot, sticky and sweaty... lets hope he can stand the heat... (shall i paint him wearing singlet and shorts with slippers then......mmmm)

Welcome to the club!! Good to see another WW-2!

In the Tamiya manual, it does say which screw bag to use.. "A", "B", "C", "D", etc. and you find the specific screws in that bag..

So sometimes, you'd have the same screws in different bags.. because they are called out in different steps..

Thanks lunchboxer. at the end... the screw bags and parts bag numbering didn't really matter...not that difficult to 'match' them up given the excitement haha

so far no 'missing nor extra screw' lying around.

i did have a problem when it comes to painting the body.......my missus insist on pink??!! though it would be great but she backed down when i plead to just allow me build a stock ww2 (promised her gonna repaint willy once i satisfied my fetish on building it stock and getting it all banged up later)... much delay in putting up the finishing touches on willy since my last post.

hope to complete willy by end of the week....... [&:] some pictures on the progress.... any advice/opinion are most welcomed.

getting barbie to drive may not be such a bad idea after all....... saw some fellow forummers out here has some cool way of 'hopping-up' ww2. i am indeed inspired to get a spare kit and spray it pink (with the chassis) and that will be my next project.

anyway, better get down to complete my ww2 and have a go this weekend. cant wait and fingers are itching... its only tuesday.......[:'(][:@]

my adjustable upper arm just arrived from rcmart today!! yippe!! btw, are those bling bling arms any good? (i mean... what benefit/improvement besides the bling factor?)

Nothing, and I think you, as a car moderator, should get a WW-2 or any Tamiya!

I have a TA-02, but a WW would be fun.

It's your influence!

The WW-2 looks great!! But it is meant to be run hard! No worry! The rollcage has steel bars inside.. the shell is actually quite strong!!

I have read this forum from page 1 to page 50 (no, I didn't have anything else to do at work!)[sm=bananahead.gif]
I just received my Wild Willy 2 from my LHS (After he had to argue with Great Planes due to them saying they didn't have any after they advertised them as being in stock! Kinda funny how one appeared out of nowhere when he said he would drop his account with them!) and can't wait to dive into the build!
I have a question though....exactly how many bearings will you need to replace all the bushings? Are they all the same size?
I have seen some sites listing them as "complete" and the numbers vary from 14 to 16 to 18. I'm confused![sm=confused.gif]
