Thanks anyway guys

Long story short, I wanted a Wild Willy as a basher, but think I would spend forever rolling it back on its wheels where I want to run it (in the woods) so thought I would settle for a Mud Blaster II as I have always loved Brats, but was looking for options, and one of our uk shops is doing a good deal on the Stadium Blitzer...

Yeah, I don't think Wild Willy would be a good choice for running in the woods.. not the best off-roader.. ha!

For the woods, I would think a 4x4 would be best.. a crawler w/ a fast motor, ha!

Just did a shock tower fix yesterday. I'll post it, its much like the others out there but mine was done before breaking it. Then one that was.

But for the woods I'd love to get an "Agrios" that thing just looks bad as Tamiya can make one.

My rear shock tower repair. Now I've broken 6 of these things in the past 2 years.

My guess is if yours does look like this or worse it soon will.
So. I went out to the local hardware store and found these nylon spacers perfect for the job.

Reamed the center slightly to only tamper one side with a body mounting hole tool.

then filed shock tower only enough to accept the spacer.
Pressing the nylon spacer over the shock mount with some plyers into place and filing again to fit the top of the shock body. Done! Simple and fast , I did this to a new tower to prevent it breaking and then did the same to a broken one. works great.

FYI, for anyone still rocking the Blitzer chassis. I've enlisted a machinist to cnc me 6 billet aluminum front shock towers as a permanent fix for those weak stock ones. I'll post the as soon as they come in.
