I suppose this is a classice traxxas. I just picked it up in a lot of rc ccars n trucks. It's a original traxxas rustler. At first I thought it was a team losi truck as it had losi wheels, buht the quality was pretty bad compared to my rc10t of the same era so i figured it was something cheaper. Runs good, has a very nice old tekin speed control that will most likely end up going in a rc10t I got in the same lot. If anyone is interested in trading I'd be interested in one of the older tamiya kits like a lunchbox or something else old.

that is old, looks to be in good shape, id steal the springs run a stiff setup and beat the tar out of it. my old rusty took a chevy s10 doing 30 in a 25 zone to stop it

well got more done, rebuilt the front suspension. got started on the steering, cleaned and re-atached the servo mounts, beelcrank and center link, and i ran a layer of ca glue around the high contact a wear points since i noticed the rear was showing a lot of damage.
also a few quick tips: if yove got a vintage trx model that uses the arms found on the eagle, nitro hawk, ls, etc. you can shave off about 1.5-2.5mm off the front arms at the hinge mounting point and fab up a tie bar. those bulkheads from earlier models are notoriously weak and this helps tremendously, ive done it using cf from the mazda speed source rx8 #70 & 69 running the rolex series. another trick is to slip a thin slice of rubber between the front bumper and where it mounts to the chassis, a lot of times the bumpers become deteriorated after so many years and it will stop them from cracking (they almost always fail at the mount point and the rubber has a bit of give to help in case you decide to hit that pole parralel to your running spot

you can see the glue in this pic

got it all back together, looks sharp! my only problem is the diff gear is really rough, needs to be replaced in the near future. other than that it looks great!

also ill be doing a trx-3 build from the ground up since i just got a trx-3 manual in the mail saturday from my favorite ebay store, ultima heaven, and after scanning through it i decided im going to build one from the ground up. so far ive got the battery box, axles, servo mounts, arms (black fronts, white and black rears), wheels (in hot pink) and the front shock tower.
im doing this build based on the premise that you can build a car from the ground up based intirely on parts from the internet and a source of knowledge to tell you what parts you need.
the big things i need are:
tranny, shocks (blue big bores perferably), rear tower, tranny hold down, steering assembly, bulkhead, hardware, turnbuckles, rear bearing carriers, bearings, body, wing mounts, wing, and upper & lower chassis deck.
this is gonna be a long drawn out project since ill be buying small amounts of parts here and there since im also going to start a build soon on my pede thats way way out there as far as originality

Hi, I have a Nitro Vee from 1996, with the 0.12 engine wich I think it will fit here, it was bought by my father (who wanted a gas boat ( yes I know its nitro), I was 16 and have much fun back then, it had a lot of reliability problems but we like it though. We have been using it till the end of 90s and now I'm trying to restore it a bit to put it on the water again. I remember while studying the career looking at the boat to help me understand the basis of planning boats subjects. I also have a 1997 Blast but it was rarely used. I will post a pic ASAP.
