Let me introduce you all to the FLYING SWORD OF DEATH!![X(] It's got 6 foot of span and weighs less than a pound with .061 power. The performance is pretty good, similar to a big SSC model. Next time the air traffic at the club field gets a little bit thick, I think I'll just whip out THE SWORD .

How is it so light? Has it maidened yet?

HI CHAD! We had a pretty good / funny discussion about it over in the 1/2A forum if you're interested. It is light thanks to the radio gear, light engine and that the structure is bare minimum. I already crashed it a few times trying to fly it as an elevon plane, but it just needed to have the grass seed brushed off because it wasn't heavy enough to reach the ground through the tall grass. Since then, I added the STABilator and converted the elevons to SLASHerons, and it flies pretty good now.
