what models make good combat planes?
I have a PICA 1/12 scal p-51, would that be ok? Most of the combat planes that I have seen are foam instead of wood kits. Are the foam kits the easier, cheaper route to go?

The Pica P-51 is a nice plane. Go To WWW.rccombat.com you can review the current rules and find out about contests in your area. Yes in a local contest you will have alot of fun with your P-51 but the TOP GUNS are running a lot of foam, fiberglass, and Kevlar. Like I said you will have a great time with your woody but it will not stand up like the combat hardened planes that are currently being flown.

Best combat planes
Captain ; By far the JKAerotech planes are the cheapest, easy to build, most durable, & good flying planes on the market. I have a few of them & they will take a mid-air & keep flying. I have 6 mid-airs & one tree collision on mine still flies great. For the money you can't beat em. Check out thier web site, www.JKAerotech.com yo'll be glad you did.
