OzMo

In our area SSC is still the most popular class, and I'm pretty sure it is nationwide.

The Magnum XLS .15 and readily available and proven airframes have helped make made SSC fun to fly and easy to build for.

Open B is still going strong and Scale is on the rise again too.

C'mon over to the RCCA site and say hello:D Its been awhile.

Once upon a time....open B was king......at the time it was competitive, fast, interesting. Most of the time there were "many"spectators out to watch. it was something to see from a spectators perspective. These spectators (future pilots) joined in because because it was fun and competitive....it was also exciting!! That was part of the draw. make it fun and let the guys talk smack.....don't run them off.

less rules.....keep it simple

too many rules and class wars......it killed the competition and pushed out the exciting events and the people that participated.....nobody can build and keep-up with 3-4 classes......the big events where 50-60 people registered were all open B...think about it

We are the only hold out of 2610 Scale in the nation although the numbers are small, we are dedicated to scale and fly open B. Caombat is alive and doing well in the Northwest district.

Are there any combat pilots left in or around the Tucson area...or S. Arizona? We have 5 or 6 now and would like to get more together.

There used to be a bunch here......How about Phoenix?

let's get it on!
