I have only had the best of luck with all the Frsky receivers I have bought for the Futaba FASST system. I have used them on smaller planes . I still buy a Futaba receiver for my giant scale stuff..

I use the system from RC-modules.com. its the "fly dream" system, we are heavy into combat and have never had a radio issue. The receivers are inexpensive, I use the module in my hitec radios. great custumer support also!

I have two Frsky rx's for Hitec, they work well so far and seem to hold up well at range even though they are the "Minima" style for smaller planes. Have two of the "Deltas" on order. So far so good!

I used the 72mHz Coronas for years before converting over to 2.4gHz, and never had any problems.

Ok Thanks to all that responded

I ended up getting a crona 2.4G that will work with my 7C, Now I will put this hog together and as soon as we get out of the deep freeeeze will se how it works. This is my first go at electric so have had to get a hole new mind set and gear.
