Bill and Pat,

The site came on for about 2 hours last night before it went down. I discovered an error in the member password screen which happened to be in about 20 different places. I put this password protection in after beta testing and got burnt.

Long story short, I dropped the ball.

The site will be back up later today. Sorry gentlemen...

Just trying to keep the members up to speed. I really thought this was going to go a little smoother after the successful beta test run we had last week. I should have known better, it's still a computer for crying out loud... [:'(]

The biggest problem I have is the darn things always do I what I TELL them to rather then what I WANT them to do. [8D]

UPDATE:

The site is still on the blink. I'm going to start hammering this evening.

Again thanks for the patience. I know how tough it is to get through the day without a good RCCA site combat fix... :D

The site is back up as of 5:14 CST here on my end. I've closed down all of the site except the RCCA Forum. I have a suspicion the forum is the source of the problems occurring the past day.

Please visit the forum and make lots of posts, if it goes down again, I'll know where to focus... [8D]

I think your mistaken, I went to forums, then at the top of the page I was able to enter many areas of the site, including memebers area entered member password AND submitted a post which worked. It is 5:45PM here in SO IN and the site speed was best I've seen with my Cable high speed connestion. good luck

Looks like you been busy, now 7.30pm and many page errors roaming aroundin just forums. Top selections now longer operate. Dont mistake my posts just trying to help ya out.....;)

HOUSTON WE HAVE A PROBLEM

Gentlemen the transfer has been a major cluster $%&^. I'm very disappointed and angry this didn't go smoother then it has. I really thought I was prepared and had all my ducks in a row. Most of you know that I don't do things half *****ed and this was not going to be the exception. Well sometimes things pop up that you hadn't accounted for in your preparation.

Basically, both the hosting compay and I under estimated the tenacity of RCCA members and their usage needs. After a half dozen phone calls and a dozen e-mails including the final one from the owner of the hosting company, I've struck out.

The site will be down until Monday at which time the site will upgraded to a higher capacity level plan and we'll try it again...

What does this mean, well I struck out this weekend but my next at bat on Monday I'm going to take one deep to center and get us back on track.

Again, I apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate the patience.

(Please don't read this as seeking pity or being depressed, I'm simply pissed just like I am after a round of combat that didn't go well because I wasn't fully prepared. I hate getting beat due to poor preparation, getting beat is a part of life but beating yourself angers the he!! out of me, ERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR.)

My GOD AJ get that site up my hands are shaking from not seeing tons of new posts and Pics all about combat. Pardon me while I vomit. Withdrawls are the worst:D Just kidding man you do a great job with the site....... but my hands are shaking. RCU won't fullfill my computer needs for long.

Tick, you really have my sympathy. I wouldn't do the programming stuff for a whole bunch of cash,,,,,,much less for free.
