RCU Forums - Combat in Georgia

Today, October 22nd we flew 10 rounds of SSC combat. 17 entrants from Georgia, Florida and Ohio competed in two heats per round for the win. Here is what we looked like at the beginning of the day:

Atlanta, Georgia is one of the hotbeds of Combat Contest Activity. So far this year we have hosted 5 SSC events, one Open B event, one Scale event and the first and so far only electric combat contest. In November there are two more contests. The first is a one day Open B event at the GMA club called the "Wild Turkey Rumble the Friday after Thanksgiving. The second is the 5th Annual Thanksgiving Classic for Open B and SSC at the Hilltop Fliers club beginning on the Saturday after Thanksgiving.
