Can everybody tell me what amount they started the control throws at?? This is my first combat palne.Looked kinda neat and a club member was selling a couple of arf versions.thanxs ,stefanP

I would start with 1/4" on elevator and That much or more on the aileron's.If it snap rolls with full up than you have too much. :D

I usually go for at least 1 1/2" total travel (3/4" one way) ...I like em responsive:)

That is where I like it also .I suggested 1/4 each way to start cause he is new to spads

1/4" What is that? You want to be able to yank and bank.

As much as you can get, especially for ailerons. Elevator, I would start at 3/8" and go on up.

That is why I suggested mild settings to start with.I have set up a few beginner pilots before and mild is better till you get use to it than increase to match your flying skils.
