Streamers

Been attempting combat down at a nearby club and none of these guys can figure how to get streamers to not self destruct in a single heat. They have been using Walmart crepe paper in black and orange both cut down to one and a half inch and full width two inch. Length has been thirty feet of paper and ten leader string. The orange seems a bit more durable than the black but still to many heats flying around with no targets.

Any suggestions?

John

try going to Home Depot, they sell tape used for surveying, its light bright and durable, usally flouresent orange or green.
take the end that attaches to the string and double it up to prevent the string from ripping out

Drop Mike an E-mail. He has dennecrepe ribbon; very tough. We have even re-used it after it has been cut.

He sell ten rolls for $2.75 a roll plus shipping.

Hat Trick R/C: http://www.hattrickrc.com/streamer.html

Dennecrepe streamers in either 300' rolls for $2.75 each, or pre-rolled 30' streamers for .40 each (PRE-ROLLED ARE A REAL TIME SAVER!).

For practice I like the forestry tape. It's hard to cut but it lasts a long time! There is a link for it on my site. www.hattrickrc.com
